yeah, possibly.

So it's just simply wrong or bad at putting out a meaningful f/cast.

Not the nearest.
Think about where your swells are coming from cranked.
Haha! Perth or the Bukit?

The nearest wave buoy for the Bukit is 3000km away at Albatross Bay (info from SurfForcaste).

Must be a virtual one I guess. They are pretty accurate a lot of the time on the Bukit, sometimes even hourly changes. Other times a swell will not arrive at all, but they'll call it on for days.

Perth has the Rotto one, hence the overcall, they are never right. Guess bathimetry is not taken into account. They could just make a simple change (knock off 50%) for all the west coast breaks within 20k of Perth.

Bukit.

So it only works for places with one swell source and simple bathymetry.

No, the forecasts are often different or the same as required but still not always correct.

Oh, I just realised you did just that, your numbers, 153-108-75, were your local kJs!

So yeah, that means waves of a foot or two, suitable for a mal
OK, finally we are getting somewhere.

Surf yesterday for Lennox with those numbers.

Inconsistent long period sets to 3ft (OH) through the morning.

Strong pulse of S/SE groundswell (well OH) (15-16 second periods) in the a'noon.

OK, so maybe Surf-forecast algorithm just can't resolve East coast swells?

I've been trying for a while now to match it to local conditions and it bears absolutely no relation to reality.
If 3 foot is overhead, does that mean Steve is a hobbit?

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Unsolo session at East Bondi. Waist high, medium peeling, offshore, surfedthefoamy.
Ripped the bag out of it as usual before devouring lots of fatty meat.

A bit of theatrical hyperbole in this case. I did polish off the remaining pork mince in a couple of tortillas for lunch.
Not a fish po’boy but pretty good.

Super crowded and I managed to:
1) get a park around the back
and
2) Paddle out in the middle of the crowd and locate a nice little right bank no one was really on.
Kind of crazy how many waves I got given how many people were out there.

Today I walked down cavill Avenue with my board tucked under my arm and backpack. Probably looked like a German backpacker  surfed a tiny peak at surfers paradise that did little more than confirmed my lack of practice and general fitness. Put the board on the beach and bodysurfed a few. Nice morning though

Surfers would have to be one of the worst waves in Australia.

There's been some cute and clean uncrowded waves. Great for a longboard and uncrowded.
