I don't know about lacchele1, but I failed to get toob'd this morning, although I did bog a rail during a cutback.

I'd like to add that I made it through said cutback, it just wasn't buttery smooth ... new board should arrive tomoz which should facilitate better butteriness.

Just looking at a surf forecast site I hadn’t seen before. Looks kind of generic and reckons Bondi is too small 26% of the time and blown out 47% of the time. Now I’m definitely not saying it’s very good but saying it’s usually smaller than other close beaches is a bit of a joke since it faces dead south. Also I would definitely say the surf being blown out is not a problem compared to 90% of Sydney Beaches.

RDO so went for the gentleman hour at 13th beachies. Summer-like down here. 29 degrees and very, very light offshore. Forgot how Spring can be. Air temps warm so you’re in boardies on land, but water still very cold. Was tossing up whether to chuck on my springy. Went with the steamer. Sweating putting it on. Sweating running down to the water. Touch the water. Good decision. It’s like ice. 15 degrees tops. Refreshing. Cleansing.

Voodoo 2-3ft lefts and rights, many of them running the full length of the reef. Surfed the 6”10 mid, heaps fun, constant turns like a pendulum

was there many out? haven't surfed it for ages but used to love those under the radar sessions you get there when swells small so 90% of people don;t bother but its still 2-3ft and fun as fuck.

Checked the point after work around 6.30.
Looked like some fun little runners with no one out.
Was about to suit up and noticed two feeding frenzies of dolphins and birds sitting just off the bank.
Watched for 20mins and they were still hanging about.
First time shark threat has stopped me paddling out since the 2015/16 cluster.
