Crazy run. My god it was good, ended up with a great arvo of 3-4ft heaving peaks at a fickle spot.

I remember some wheelchair xylophonist getting all macho about how he liked to smash absolutely heaps of Weetbix before a hard day's roofing

Been surfing the cooly stretch a lot lately.
Pre-dawn paddle outs. Catch as many waves as possible before the crowd and come in before any frustration would inevitably set in.
Works quite well.

Snapper. Wasn't worth trying to compete with Occy behind the rock. Sat on my ass out in the channel and just caught little crappy ones. Water was still pretty murky and gross. Apparently just further South was fucking huge, few piccies online from Cabarita that were big.

It's been good hasn't it mate - mostly offshore and you can always count on semi-consistent lines. The crowds have been the only drawback.

Crappy here and comps taking best peak but, managed to get a few. River waters warm. Still no salt taste here.

Decent surf was forecast yesterday (one of the few days so far this year): slowly building, offshore nearly all day.

Got there at 6am. Surfed a tiny wave for 30 minutes at about 9am. Checked some more spots and went home a 12pm.

Checked again today... nothing. So just a quick 2.5 hours surf check.

God I need to hit the Bukit again.

Had my first surf in a while today. Struggled to maintain a positive mindset in the conditions but snagged about two waves I was happy with. Nice to get in the water.

I possibly say this every year but the water is bloody warm for late March.

Super warm. More logs than usual as in actual logs not long surfboards.

Left looking good at Bondi. Day one out of covid iso I still feel fatigued so didn’t hit it. Also still looks a bit too brown for my liking.
I didn’t notice the lethargy till I got out walking. Does that count as ongoing symptoms so I don’t have to go to work tomorrow?

You will probably notice it more if you try to put in a full day. Took me weeks. Still trying to get on top of it.
