Good to hear! Rock off skill will really come in handy if he goes off surfing and exploring coastlines for surf around the world

I went out for the first time in a while this morning. Had a scary experience. I got caught inside and even though it was fairly small it was very consistent and I took ages to get out of there. Felt really sick and out of sorts for a while after. Wondered if I was having a heart attack.

Lack of surf fitness is a given, but this was something else. Maybe wasnt breathing deeply enough?

Probably just surf fitness but if you're uncomfortable, get checked out.
I get like that occasionally but always seem to get a second wind after a half hour or so.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Should read the Intro to Phil Jarretts Autobio. It basically starts just like that with him finding out a couple of days later that he's had a heart attack. Get it checked out.

Like most males I'm pretty slack at that. Made worse by the fact I've lost faith in my regular GP and haven't found a new one yet. But I am about 2 years overdue for my annual checkup so should go and do that

Maybe he does actually live in Nicks backyard.

Pretty shit though that two competing surf forecast sites can be seeing things completely opposite.
not really. i think it's a good thing the two surf sites can conflict with each other. shows they're not regurgitating crap from the same old hymn sheet. or something something to that effect.

Reckon it might be a good idea. Feeling sick and out of sorts after exercise could be a heart thing. But then again it may not.

Just a few things I've gone to him about and hasn't really taken interest. Old and set in his ways I guess. To be fair hes indulged me other times. He also has a shit list of specialists he refers you to

Surfed the last 3 days. Monday pretty good but got a few good ones today. Nice clean conditions. A few banks happening so crowd spread out. Wave lit up a bit on a lowish tide

How often do you blow it getting in at the Ox, Steve. I find Burleigh worse in getting out but obviously no problem getting in.

I hadn't blown it in months and in the last 2 weeks I've been sliced, diced and multiple dings on multiple boards.

First time I surfed Lennox I got a fcuking big sea urchin spine in my foot coming in. About as thick as a knitting needle. Managed to pop it out with a pocket knife at my mates place. Blood everywhere. At least it came out clean.
