judging from that first shot, it seems blowing his own trumpet is something larry has been working on much longer than i first thought.

Touchie you old bastar.d - where's Stuey when I need him, and that's Phil Edwards doing a head dip at Wategos - He left his board with us for a few days to slobber over, it had about 11 stringers and everybody wanted a shot on it - and I'm still thanking St Christopher that none of you sad sacks were around to upset me

The other bloke is Wayne Burton, he could play AFL and surf at the same time, he's testing a pair if Adler crutch rippers here - I can have a gross to you tomorrow Bev, four and sixpence each.

Nah Puuri, it's 'The Australian Surfrider' by Jack Pollard.

On the back flap of the dust jacket there's a quick blurb about Pollard's next sports book called 'Straight Shooter'. It's all about guns and shooting and will be 'available at all good gun shops'!

Phil Edwards was god. Larry is a false idol (with false teeth)

Preferred Jack Eden's book (a few of us were in it) (boast, boast)
