2007.
Started the year in great form, waking up on a train having no idea where i was from the NYE celebrations. First stop when i was awake was Wolstencroft, leaving me completely confused and questioning how on earth i got there.

Surf - Had 3 good trips down the south coast. All good fun with mates. Not many good waves to be had but plenty of good times and plenty of looking around and finding spots to come back to later on.

Didn't get to surf as much as i would have liked to this year, but hopefully will go more in 2008.

Highlights
- South coast trips.
- Australia day at a mates, great day spent with backyard cricket and the BBQ with a few (lots) of beers.
- Getting scholarship and passing first year of uni.
- Daft Punk and Parklife.

Lowlights.
- Being arrested in July and getting a good behaviour bond for 12 months.
- Dog being hit by a car on christmas day.

Best Memory
- Sitting with all my mates in a large group of people down by the lake at Parklife. Couldn't have asked for any better time.

Annoyances
- The election
- The influx of slogan T-shirts.

1 - Daft Punk
2 - Cut Copy
3 - Circus Maximus
4 - Bloc Party
5 - Sonic Youth

6 = Sonic Youth - The Diamond Sea
7 = Maximo Park - The coast is always changing
8 = Silversun Pickups - Kissing Families
9 = The Teenagers - Homecoming
10 = Radiohead - Idioteque

Ending the year
Probably spend the night at Balmain area taking it easy. Starting the new year with a bang with Field day.

All in all, I'm dying for the new year and very very keen to say so long and good riddance to this year.

How's your 07 been?

On the way back from Sumbawa, we were driving through Lombok at night on the way to the barge to Bali. These indo guys made a road block and told us to get out of the car. We knew we were getting robbed so i dacked my wallet and passports etc. and had a couple of hundred thousand in my pocket.

They made us go into this hut and asked for passports. We refused. They said then that they were cops even know they were dressed in rags. Then my mate asked for their id. Stupid mistake. The main guy opened up his jacket and pulled out a six shooter and my mate jumped, then i jumped then everyone was on edge and they were blocking our exit and yelling in indonesian.

Just gave them some money which was worth about 40 bucks and went on our way. Was not a good feeling. I felt very far from home.
