Club of course. Fcuk paying a squillion dollars when you can eat at the Bistro downstairs. Had to wait until people left due to Covid Restrictions. They lift on Monday though I think. Someone had booked for a function. Looked like a Hens Night when they finally showed up.
Re: Bondi Rescue I don’t think they have started filming yet. This is the longest they have left the sandbanks alone for though so there’s some major gutters. Goodish banks too.

Beanpole
You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Don’t worry, The Mighty. They won’t get a park.

Doing well considering he’s only young, and grew up on a stretch of barrier reef coast dabbling with “sometimes breaks”. Compare that to the die hards in my link belowTrev wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 5:55 pmHarry Grant, the surfer.

Article in the Guardian about Slater possibly not being able to compete in Oz due to his vaccs stance. Might be time for him to hang up the singlet anyway.

How would you feel if the grom in your heat at the local boardriders pulled this off?

Not a flip.

Well boo will still say it's not a flip.
If Jordy kept up that youthful flare he could've won a title. And that was on his weaker side, backhand.
Re: Just general surfing stuff
Just watched some footage of that Ethan Ewing. Dude shreds, how come he’s not WC already?
Re: Just general surfing stuff
Ethan Ewing is on the WSL main tour.
He qualified first at the age of 17 for the 2017 season. He seemed over-awed. He did not do well. He fell off the tour.
He re-qualified for the 2021 tour. He did better. He made a couple of quarter finals. He will be on tour next year.
Coincidentally, I had a long chat with Ethan’s mother on the beach at Straddie in about 2001. Helen Lambert (Ewing). Ethan would have been a toddler. She was a nice straight-talking person and a stylish powerful surfer. She had won a Bells and also an Indonesian Pro at Nias. She said she had been thru a recent cancer bout and hoped that was over with. She died of cancer a few years after our meeting.

It’s good to hear an interview with a Balinese surfer. Cranked, do you know this bloke?

Re: Just general surfing stuff
I've seen him around foamy, mainly with his surf school guys at various breaks. He's from Bingin - a break that I rarely surf as its a real crowd of hot locals all compressed into a very small area.foamy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 6:21 pmIt’s good to hear an interview with a Balinese surfer.
