What did you think of the Moe?
Had it out today.

Fast and agile, surfs more like a shortboard: hard and quick off the bottom, hard and quick off the top.
Quad set up?
How does it compare to aCarver which seems to be the obvious point of reference?

Thruster.

Way looser and faster than a Carver, much more responsive to rider input. Good transition to a short board (that's a 7' or 6'8 for me), which is where I'm headed. The Bukit May/June is looking likely.

Found it a bit too loose as a quad (the test report used extra large and large fins, I only had large and medium in it).

Some fun beachies about this afternoon
Great direction, a bit too windy down here.

Tomorrow looks....windy and quite big

Ballina has been out of action pretty much all summer and on it goes.
Most of summer too much wind and swell and dirty water (even pre-flood).
Then we had a couple of not bad days but generally not great banks anyway that were quickly followed by the big floods.
Water was just showing signs of cleaning up, a few people were surfing but I wasn't game yet and now looks like another month minimum of putrid water.

Complete opposite down here. Constant swell, heaps of epic bigger days at bommies and points, loads of 3ft days where the beaches are on. Best summer in memory for me

Mini excavator at work on the beach this week. Merrily filling in all the gutters that have produced any banks we had. A nice neatly groomed closout from end to end. Hopefully a big swell will gut it again soon.
Superbank looks epic.

Sorry. North of a disaster area. Not sure what point Offie was trying to make.
Glad you’re getting some Trev. Very jealous.

Some might argue a few Caloundra locals might make it a disaster area.

Probably true.

The worst type of transplant, I might add.
