Re: Where did you surf today ?
If the bloody full bore, onshore wind would back off it'd be great here.
Maybe tomorrow

Re: Where did you surf today ?
^^Yep, clean where I was. Sore muscles, and 3rd degree rash's. Copped a calf cramp right in the impact zone today, luckily didn't get caught by any of the bigger sets.

Sth Maroubra
3-4 ft, junky, but I had a ball. Found a couple of fast sections but mostly it was either a closeout or just got fat, but just had fun going for everything that came my way.
Glad I went out. Pridmore, gave the slim bat a work out.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
glad to hear the slim bat is getting some water time still. I actually caught up with Mr. Tom Carroll today and chatted about boards for a while and I am now shaping him a new quaddy, so looking forward to that....
I surfed 3-5ft clean Point. It was a pretty high tide but had heaps of fun on the AquaBat, getting heaps of waves with all that volume and just flying thru the sections, then went and got the 6 finner and played around feeling her out, very promising and cant wait to surf it in some fun beachies soon. Ran out of petrol on the way home but didnt care after a great morning of waves and now shaping one of my childhood heros a board....

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Surfed with Iggy and Butts yesterday near Long Reef.
Modest swell, around 3 foot, and we had a good laugh. Butts was privvy to witnessing me getting a fair smashing going over the falls as well, I think my last words were "ARRRRGH FUC...."
Steep take-offs up here compared to what I am used to in Vicco though, buried the nose on more than one occassion taking the drop and kept bottom-turning too late resulting in running into the close-outs.
Timid crowd too, not many heading out the back to get the bigger sets.
Loving the short paddles up here, I'm normally faced with a 150m minimum paddle to get out the back at home, here it's more like 50

Surfed yesterday late morning.
And again today at first light. You can smell oil, though, even though it really only started to come ashore a klm or so further north.
2 -3' a bit mushy but good fun.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
