I'm going to start playing competitive table tennis (ping pong) again to up the fitness.
Only lost one game (to deuce) in an incredibly dominant week at G-land.
Flogged aussies, French and Russians.

Loving this. Ping Pong fitness. Thrashed a bunch of surfed out tourists. Wonder how many locals he played. I think a ping pong trip to China is needed to bring a sense of humbling reality to the fitness program.

Steve, what were the bats like at joyos - pimple rubber, anti spin, or could you work a bit of spin out of them?

typical thrashed old bats with mostly missing rubber.
I used a flat/defensive style of play- wall of death- to defeat opponents.

I had a nice cocktail yesterday at Lola’s, Bondi. Basically a glass of cold gin with two white pickled onions on a toothpick in it.
Pickled onions tasted better than I remember
