It was just as good today Don.
And the crowd at my local maxed out at 8.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

After work yesterday I scored fun little beachies. Surfed the same place on the weekend and the leggie got tangled in the mass of seaweed in the shorey after every wave. So yesterday I went without it. 1st time for ages. Had a couple of swims and that affected my surfing. I was thinking about not falling

Materials report of my recent trip
- 1 lost middle fin after a botched takeoff during low tide at Racetrack (I think) in Ulus. The fin came straight off, no snapped tabs and no fin box damage
- 1 lost left reef boot after a closeout set
- 1 dinged right rail when my board got washed up and hit the wooden steps of a warung at Balangan during high tide
- 1 damaged board bag zipper on the flight back

Ah yeah there was that as well. I think I got a bargain with the ding repair ... only 50k Rupiah. I sent it for repair after lunch and it was ready for the dawnie the next day. As a bonus, the repairer also smoothed out the hideous self-repair job I did on another part of the board.

^^ You would've just missed Skip and me. We paddled out at 4.00. Banks weren't too flash but definitely bigger than this morning and worth a paddle.

South to Mid Maroubra was pretty flat this arvo so I headed down to Wanda. Caught a couple of fun rights. The guys in the car park reckoned the swell was already building up.

hacked the shit out of some fat eight footers out the Pool (south Newport) today, a friend of mine recently nicknamed it "Why-me-ki" or when it's bigger "Why-me-a"
it's a leading contender for that little known category in the XXL Awards, "thing that looks like it could be a good wave but is in fact shit"
tomorrow it'll be four to five foot and there'll be 75 kooks and 16 SUPs out. Hurray!

Havn't bothered surfing the pool for a long time, but if it's 4-5 foot tomorrow you can bet that dingbat who often rides/ rode a red single fin gun out there will be on it.Yelling, hootin and dropping in on all and then falling off in the process Possibly one of the kooks Nick is referring to, though not sure if he still surfs out there.Pretty sure he used to think he was some sort of hell local, but couldn't surf to save himself.oh yes.memories of the pool.

Yet again another south swell hoax marches by. Drove all the way to the coast this morning only to do a poo, and then turn around and drive back to work. Feck I hate south swells!!!!
