Wow, c'ess, that's great to hear! Take it on with all you got...and remember Wm's sonnet:
Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments; love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken.
It is the star to every wand'ring bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
Though f**k knows how that'd sound in Unzud.

Such the romantic NC. Well C'ress you wouldn't want to marry for money now would you?

Strikes a chord in this old fullas heart eh as me and missus 28 yrs on. Hope it does for you too Suze! (otherwise I do some bits)
In our certain economy of language therefore: "Yaamagurra dubaay" (trans Ngemba way: "good wishes you for the future and to your partnership")

Well, I hope you're satisfied, you sexist a...holes. You've chased another one away, this time across the Tasman. It certainly seems to be pathetically true that surfers are immature cretins and that the whole scene is decidedly MICKEY MOUSE. Grow up and find another sport; leave the waves to the 14 year olds.

Oh Chamberess, Oh Chamberess
Upon this site you did impress
Those surfing blokes both young and old,
who read your words both quick and bold.
And longed to see you surf one day,
they punned and joked in much a play,
while mystery kiwi stole your heart,
and left us feeling not so smart.
So learn to speak of fush and chups.
while kiwi man will smooch your lups,
And remember when you've gone away
to ride that board most every day

I couldn't agree more. I've been trying to educate and mature the Realsurf crew on here since the Special K dayz. I think I'll give up surfing and start bashing up westie car-hoons. A far more satisfying sport me thinks.

a) Us chase away C'ess? We couldn't do that with lead pipes and flamethrowers. That girl has the hide of a rhinocerous. For chrissake, she's engaged to a Brazilian and moving to New Zealand.
b) Yes, we are satisfied ... but not by you.
c) Immature cretins we may be, but the day I use "certainly", "pathetically" and "decidedly" in the same sentence will be the day I too quit surfing for some other sport.
d) Which will be .. what? Cricket? Lawn bowls? Lamely trying to bait people on the net, while secretly hoping they'll pick you up and show you a Good Time?

Chamberess it's appallingly obvious what's going on here: you've been impregnated and are disapearing before your bulging uterus gives you away. Then you plan to dash the baby's head against the nearest rock and return one year hence. Just so you know I know Chamberess.

Ha ha ha. LOL, ROFL, all that stuff.
This is the funniest thread I've read in a while. Awesome, awesome NZ accents. I was transported folks.
Go get 'em, Nick. I love the writing critique! chortle, (I'm a goose).
And aren't just the biggest romantic?
Congrats Chamberess.
