I'm off to Newcastle cause I got Tuesday off as well and my girl lives there. Considering the size of the place, I've never had it crowded. Always get waves and find the vibe is nothing like the aggro in Sydney.

Looks like i'll be battling it out with all the tourists here in sydney the long weekend. Being a casual means i don't get a long weekend. Plus got rehearsals for me show next week!

Car is packed, boards, tent, beers. Its parked downstairs from my office now, waiting. Everything is set and ready to bail at lunchtime.
The bouys are showing swell is coming up quickly.
Weather map says offshore all weekend

Aaarrgh - I cant wait to bail - get me out of here now!!!!

After all this talk about going away I've succumbed and booked a cabin, so I'll be one of the mindless massess on the highway heading down south as well ...

Al this is gold. "She didn't realise I was fairly high and spent much of the evening trying to figure out why a purple and orange cow wanted me to climb a tree."

Fuk highways and cars and dickheads who cant drive and smelly servos run by curries and caravan parks chokkers full of cheeky groms and ankebiters and fat people from out west and.......

My board, blades, speargun, wetty, cd player, music, bottle of JD, etc are in da car at work now. Im drivin to the airport, wingin up to Noosa, stayin wit a good mate who I grew up with in Warriewood, surfin Teatree if its workin, otherwise just gonna paddleboat & jetski round the heads, or go divin off National Park. Then theres Noosa nightlife and the talent up there is always good and keen!
I can resist everything - except temptation.

Thankfully there are plenty of spots on the south coast that like south swell and north wind - hopefully we will be spread out a little.
I think this surf is going to be smaller than we were hoping for - oh well gotta get wet.
I'm off - see ya!!
