The point break in #4 - #10, is that the pass? Or where is it mate, looks so much fun. As do the last few piccy's with all the bazza's.

Do you have any of Broken Head? I heard it got some goodies last couple'a weeks up there...
sitting down, watching every second person slip between the boulders when trying to rock off, and getting washed over the rocks when trying to come back in, it sort of makes you feel glad that you're on land
but, im too much of a kook on a stick to compete out there for waves, and it didn't seem the right place to ride my lid. though there were a few kids out there getting a few.
i did go out though in front of dress circle drive, the very end of the wave i guess. was fun there with a wall all to yourself. and a lot easier getting in/out :P
i didn't see broken head going off, that's why ive only got the one pic of it. and even though broken head was just average, it was still so packed i couldn't get a wave. had to paddle down the beach but it paid off.
and yeah, it goes without saying, shots 4-10 is the pass. good luck getting a wave out there. i tried hopelessly. maybe i should stick to taking photos
still have to post up pics for day 5. when this topic makes two pages, it's probably worth checking again

Top pics macca. Great sequence with the superman (or superchic as is seems) and love the walls displayed in #37 & #38. Thats a dream wave with that sort of wall on it...

Can't wait for the 5th installment.

Geez Macca, didn't take very many

Like this last lot, looks sweet 8)

How many times did you have to go and get a DVD burnt from the shop?
or did you have your laptop with you?

Couple of those shots would look real nice blown up 8)

Still can't believe you didn't get in there amongst it

thanks. gotta admit, was pretty impressive 5 day run of swell (for summer). it ended very quickly though around lunchtime on the 5th day.

lol. thanks man. yeah borrowed sisters laptop.
i was on a family holiday.
in a day, im supposed to go up the coast with some mates for the rest of the week, and luck would have it, i was playing classic catches with a waterpolo ball, misstimed my dive into the water and jarred my finger.
i tore the end ligament on my ring finger and so now i've got a mallet finger.
Image
will need to get a proper finger splint for it tomorrow. ( a stack splint)
meanwhile, this cut off paddle pop stick is doing well

anyone know how long this'll keep me out of the water for? its meant to stay on for 6 weeks. it's not very swollen, doesn't hurt too much so i don't think there is any bone damage.

ps. hey bruno

dammit thats some nice feedback. cheers :D

oh and my finger doesn't need surgery, just this stupid cast.
apparantly i can still surf with it, just gotta make sure it doesn't come off.
and if i bend my finger once when im airing it (have to take splint off daily to air), the 8 week treatment period restarts

macca, some awesome images there- thanks for sharing.

They really strike a chord with me- my parents upped and moved the family to byron when I was a young'un, so you and maxi are sharing pics of places where I spent my formative years of surfing- and made me realize it's about time I check out what cheap airfares are around at the moment... think I might lob at me mums place for a visit....

I've gotta say #41 caught my eye straight away. I liked it so much I decided to crop it down and have it as my new avatar.
Hope you don't mind Macca :?:
