Re: Where did you surf today ?
First surf today in nearly a month after the fin incident.
Waterproof dressing worked well.
Surfed the 6’2 twin at 2-3 foot Cronulla point. Some fun ones at times

I think rule of thumb is 4-5 degrees colder than the ocean.
Which makes winter fucken ridiculous.

Water temp was 21 degrees at Bronte according to the chalkboard at the beach.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
He pays so little attention to details.
It did play havoc with my style, I must admit.
I wouldn’t even contemplate a session mid winter when it can drop to 6 or 7.
Overall, I was impressed with the set up out of the water - staff and facilities were very good. Especially the staff. Really sweet, friendly and chill.
The wave? Kinda ordinary really. Nice to have a consistently well shaped wave to practice on, but I thought it too short in length and the critical takeoffs were a bit hectic with all the water movement. Although all the peeps we shared with had fine manners and were very considerate towards each other.
Water was 12 deg. Air temp fr 9 at our first session up to 17 mid arvo then back to about 12 for the dusky one.

Who's carcass?
Just checked Impossibles, 90 in the water, 20 minutes with no decent waves, then a monster set that caught everyone inside.
It was mayhem, everyone was swept down towards Bingin. Three loose boards but I couldn't see anyone swimming.
Not worth the hassle, I'll check again later
