Custom Stoke...Part 2

Post by cactus » Thu Jan 28, 2010 3:20 pm

Meet my lil' friend, Eddy.

His dad, my ol' mate, survived a gnarly mauling by a 14' Pointer back in the late '70's...but sadly not the drive home from work late one night when Eddy was just a baby.

I've mixed emotions looking at this shot..
Stoked at the way he's growing into a really good kid, chock full of life.
And sad his ol' man isn't here to share it with.

Eddy will never have to pay for a board from me.

Anyway... this one is 5-7 > 17.75 > 2.1>

Nice one Cactus, your mate would be sitting up there with one thumb up and a big smile on his face knowing your looking out for his boy. Nice board too, you mow some really nice lines.

great stuff...I know first hand what its like to lose ya old man at a young age, no good at all and that shit never leaves ya, always a massive void in your life but surfing definitely helps and to have a few people lookin out for ya as well as few nice sleds to boot, well thats gotta help...love ya work mate 8)
