Pretty much over Summer. So many humid nights. Waters great at the moment though. Another mid 30s day on the way.

I remember this tiny cove I stumbled on during a solo trip years ago. Wasn't the most impressive setup, looked more like a local's secret spot. But the waves there had this chill vibe, perfect for just carving and connecting with the water. Made me realize the magic of surfing isn't always about monstrous swells and wipeouts.

Maybe the perfect wave isn't out there waiting to be discovered. Maybe it's about finding a place that speaks to you, a place that lets you dance with the ocean in your own way. What do you guys think? Is there a hidden gem of a surf spot that stole your heart, even if it doesn't fit the mold of a world-famous break?

By the way, if you're looking for some inspiration on the connection between surfing and the greater universe, check out this website called https://meaningspiritual.com/. It talks about surfing as a metaphor for navigating life's waves, which I totally dig.
