Saying a forecast like this eventuates, could you score some fun and relatively uncrowded waves there?

Tonks any size, combined with a strong southerly generates a hellish rip.
These days it's a backpackers paradise. They even have a surf school.
Having said that it's a great part of the world and even if you don't score waves it's worth a visit.
In my humble opinion.

Don't think the upcoming system will generate enough swell for it to be anything more than pleasant babyfood suitable for backpackers Tonks.

I surfed it on dark. Still some 6ft+ sets. Bit of light gurgle on it. Dozen blokes out.

I see a really strong sustained S to SE swell event next week. Potential for ten foot surf at the Point.

Look at the tide chart. Rock-off after an hour of run in; that'll be the safest rock-off all day. Come in down past the hut after a couple of hours of run-in.

Drift around and get yourself a big wave or three.
