If they came one by one and not in a pre-planned group that would be fine.

There was a Sydney based English guy that came out before them, by himself, sat in rotation and had a pleasant chat to us.

That’s how you do it.

Worst one I can remember. Lots of south-easterlies (which is really weird). Mainly wind swell. When it was offshore, it was blowing a gale. Lots of rain. Cold. Looking forward to spring.

Looks alright at the moment BA.

And the spot I mentioned, if I see 5 guys already out, I don’t even surf it. Doesn’t handle a crowd.

Very polite.
Rode a McCoy and surfed it well.

Dunno, they drove in all with qld plates so not staying at tent park.
And they all waited for a local to run past them and jump off so that they knew what to do.
They were looking down the beach then thought fuck it and sat on us.
Funny that you have posted this as was down the South Coast on the weekend and a nice little reef was breaking super clean, 2-3ft. 3 blokes on it and 3 wave sets, tide too high for the smaller/mid size ones to break.

We had a crew of 7, 3 dads, 4 kids and all the kids and one of the dads was frothing on it but me and the other dad were like no fucking way can we paddle out, 7 of us and sit on those blokes so we went elsewhere.

Some people are from a different world when it comes to surf etiquette.

Someone posted an old surf etiquette sign on Facebook. Unlike the regular ones stuck up at the beach this one included giving whoever had been waiting the longest the wave and a couple of other quaint ideas. Like not snaking people and not hogging waves.
