Josh, you are prolific.
Everyone else is commenting on the quality and artwork, I want to know how you crank them out so quickly given you are producing a more labour-intensive board?

Re: WEST SUITS PTY LTD - ADMINISTRATOR APPOINTED
You are correct Fongers... like the big three and almost all other 2nd tier brands West suits are made in China and have been for some time. Pretty much all QuikRipaBong come out of the same factory in Shanghai. Same as removable fins from one factory in HK, same as 35 brands of boards from one fac...

Re: A Moving Letter from Gerry Lopez
$50,000 is way too much prize money for a women's longboard event. If they had to sell tickets to raise the prizemoney it would come to more like $50. And that's only if the contestants had boyfriends ( or girlfriends in this case ) who would bother going to watch rather than cop the nagging. Women...

Backwashy, lumpy, inconsistent Maroubra.
Didn't get a lot of good ones, though they were there to be had, but it was a nice morning out.
Hard not to compare it to last week.

So Roy, with a fin like this, assuming that the observations and theory are true, would it be easier to design a singlefin shortboard that won't wash out on hard turns?

Re: Future Primitive Earl 10'6"
The fin has leading edge tubercules ( based on those used by humpback whales) , which are proving to be very successful in increasing lift, reducing drag and increasing angle of attack in many applications. How exactly can the fins reduce drag? As I understand it they induce drag/cohesion through t...

restricted by time to the Bra today.
Chalk and fcken cheese.
Paddled to the sand after 20 minutes, having ridden 2 one and a half foot waves that failed to do anything of interest.
Left 60 odd wave-rabid middle-aged tradies to battle over the scraps.

Re: Suggestions for newbie mal rider
Main advice, don't go too long. I'm 6' and 72kgs, I prefer mals that are no more than 9'1", 8'6" is my magic length but not many people do good sub-9 foot mals. 2+1 is more user friendly than a traditional single, as you progress you can take out the sidebites. Welcome to a world of new fin shapes a...

Faaark. Cummmon. Didn't anyone south of tweed get something to gloat about? Went for a roadtrip today. Was tossing up between the Bra and going further afield where the banks are better and the crowds are smaller. Best decision ever. Wow. Just wow. Words fail me. Too stoked to do it justice. I'm go...
