Re: Where did you surf today ?

Stiff offshore and kinda fattish take off meant u couldn't take off deep otherwise u'd get held back and end up too late and behind the section. U had to take off right on the edge...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Greenhills. 4ft plus. Offshore, consistent. Lefts and rights. Some of the rights were running for over 100 metres. Heaps of fun fast sections to beat down, with the odd turn of sorts here and there in the mix.

Though it does get a good run of swell with the cyclones and east coast lows. Any swell from the south will be sever...

Re: Boards that "die"

Awesome. Look forward to seeing the pics. On nose to tail vees, perhaps in Big Stuff they're more suited to really perfect waves that don't section out, but just reel along nicely. Really dig the feel of vees, but after the few recent surfs on my gun I'm happy it's got the slight single concave, as ...

Re: Boards that "die"

Without wanting to get too much off topic, but regarding guns, I'd be keen on hearing thoughts and opinions on bottom contours suited for your typical big winter groundswells, reefs, big beachies, bombies, etc. Bottom contours: vee bottoms would be seemingly ideal as they give u that neutral easy ra...
