Why SS hasn't hounded the ASP about their drug testing efficiency? I think you hit the nail on the head with your earlier comparison with the UCI and h...

The drugs and abuse that was obviously condoned and covered up is only one small part of surfing history that has never been properly exposed. From large scale dealing, still currently occuring, to the abuse and effects on the pros, drugs and surfing have gone hand in hand for the last forty years o...

Touché Mr Rice Queen! Thanks Mr Carroll.. hope to read that story someday and I look forward to the review!! There are many interesting tales to be told in the surfing world both past and present.. I am not a fan of Mr Smith and his trash prose but I admire his intent and wish more would follow suit.

Hey Nicky a couple of quickies.. 1.Have you read the Chas Smith book yet? You said awhile back that you would review it here. Will this happen? 2. As you have been to the North Shore for many a year now and haven't ever reported on anything of substance out of the water in all that time... Are you s...

Nice promo over on CW. Should hopefully draw some more traffic.
Is Kidman going to do some writing for your site Steve? Some of his stuff is ok!
Maybe he could do a piece about a psuedo hippy, living on a farm in the hinterland, obsessed with trying to relive 1972.

Wet Sanding bottom of board
My new board has a polished finished on top and has been left matt on the bottom. Was explained that this helps the board plane through the water. Then I recently came across this from a US site.. “A sheet of wet/dry #320 sandpaper should be used to wet sand the bottom and rails of your surfboard for...

The wind was a heavy southerly and the swell was 6-8' and building. Pretty crazy experience for a 14yr old!! Considering some of the unfortunate events with the clubbies at nationals in the recent past, what sort of liability cover do you have Nick? Is this something you think about before taking k...

Re: Rebuilding the big 17
A couple of questions Roy..
Your boards are obviously not very durable as you have shown, I am wondering if you offer a warranty on the 17' for quality and workmanship? and if so how much would an extra 5 years cost?
Have you ever sold a board? Do you have any customer testimonials?
