Anne Marie Biggar I think. Wasn't he alongside Alex Wileman in the early days though? Now she was a good reason to be late for school after watching too many cartoons in the mid-80screased wrote:What was that blondes name anyway ..... Ann Marie??

aitch, been taking a lot of interest in your posts here. I really like the sound of what you're proposing and, I know it's easy to say now, I reckon I would be prepared to pay for a product that offers something different to what's available for free. Interesting point re the target demographic: man...

Goofy, I'm a couple of decades younger than you but family commitments have seriously cut into my surf time and I struggle to do all the things you should out of the surf to be fit and ready to go when it's on - so getting to my feet cleanly and quickly is a recurring problem. I agree with the timin...

I live quite far away in Concord (inner west). 32kms each way, I can get to the beach in 30-35mins if I leave before about 6:00am, if I sleep in it can take 1.5 hours. It's strange that all of my neighbours are keen surfers. Wouldn't have thought of Concord as a hot-bed of surfers  Good ...

I had a kinda similar experience a couple of weeks back. Was in Port mac for a week and town beach behind the rocks was doing a nice impersonation of the pass or currumbin alley (well, to my surf-starved eyes anyway :D). Was out there on my own when an older mal guy paddled out - figured he was a lo...

Powerglide is ready. Pick it up tomorrow.I will try and post a pic and let you know how it goes. 8) Mate, looks like you've got some decent swell to try it out on :D Lookin' forward to some pix and a review. Like I posted earlier I'm thinking seriously about downsizing to one board, just don't have...

I hope you wait until you get in the water.. I remember standing on the sand at Queensy getting ready to go out, I look over at my mate and see a stream of amber liquid coming out of his wetty and running down his leg.. definitely an 'in water only' activity.. Yeah, but I got caught once busting to...

I could try and add something about the backdoor shot but it's all been said (sittin' here at work muttering 'bullsh!t' 'no way' 'get frocked' for the last 5 mins like a raving grommet). Glad you got the shot of the southy's lefts too; think I waxed lyrical on one of your other photo threads about g...

Some great stories here - glad to see you've all been making the most of it. I dived (dove?) off my board and bodysurfed it as the barrell formed (with eveyrthing slowing down like in Greenough's Crystal Voyager). Dunno what it means but it was fun while it lasted  Come over to the "dark" side...

[I'd read these forums for a few years now and never posted but after reading a post about a guy moving to 'nulla and giving it a pasting my hackles raised so I came on board to shoot the bird so to speak. Since then, I dislocated my shoulder surfing last month and was out of action and then...

Great shots Surfanimals! (you seem to be everywhere on these forums lately). Seeing shots like that reminds me that as a grommet I used to think that huge, heavy waves like this could only be found 'somewhere else', like Hawaii. Bugger that! BTW are you down with the MBK crew or something? I assume ...

Some great stories here - glad to see you've all been making the most of it. Nearest I got was craning my neck to check the surf at Longy and Collaroy on Sunday as I drove past; although I did have a really vivid dream on Sat night. I took off on a hollow right and, as I bottom turned and the lip st...

That whole incident's got me thinking what I'd do in a similar situation. I think we'd all wan to say, 'yeah - I'd go in to help' without even thinking, but when this happens it forces you to think twice unfortunately. Everything in my upbringing and beliefs tells me to step in and help - but at wha...
