Maybe northern winter south of the equator that’s true...

I live in Canada and owned a 5mm rip curl flashbomb that lasted me 3 years and kept me warm even in winter... Then I switched to a 5mm xcel revolt and was incredibly disappointed with it's warmth compared to the flashbomb... doesn't even come close.

So that would be March? Is it true the water is quite a bit cooler that time of year?

Hawaii is two flights for me and usually 50 percent more expensive to fly, as well as a lot more expensive when you get there for food, car rental and accommodation. But yes I will make it there again sooner or later.
