Been quite a few shark sightings around Fingal to Byron stretch past few days, Hardly makes the slop we have now worth it.

Checked from Duranbah dow to Ballina, average at best ended up heading out just north of Ballina banks are pretty shot, good to get some waves after a few weeks out of the water. Southerly killed it.

Some cracker waves at beachies along the Northern end yesterday arvo. 3ft the odd bigger one, glassy as conditions as well. Loads better then today, was worth the few weeks wait!! very happy indeed.

Are the storm bars that bad down near you, Steve? I haven't checked out everywhere, but where I have been wasn't as badly affected as I expected. Sand was shifted out of the dunes, sure, but didn't seem to go all that far offshore. I'd like to retract this previous statement. The banks on the south...

Past week has been shite, hopefully has helped the banks around the goldy grrr (horrible at the moment) hopefully will see some waves come end of next week with some better banks.

a bit off topic, but does anyone know if the new york comp will be shown on onehd? cos i remember during the Snapper comp they were saying that the New York and France comps will be shown live, yet i have not heard or seen anything on one about it

With Winter approaching thought I'd start up a thread for the season.
