Re: Where did you surf today ?

I’ve been wearing fsc 2 reef booties for the past couple of years surfing any reefs where there’s urchins or barnacles. Only took a few sessions before becoming used to them. Now I can’t even feel any difference/compromise between going barefoot. Might be overkill but time out of the water sucks and...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Nearby wind protected reef at 3-4 ft plus. Consistent sets and plenty in between. Spread out setup with shifting bowling peaks coming through with plenty of waves to go around. Was feeling lazy after finishing work and it’s a bit of a paddle out so opted for the 6’10 freeflight 2+1 midlength round t...

So I’m assuming you’re pretty fucking happy with your decision?
Oh yes indeed BA, more than happy. And yes Steve, it’s a great wave.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Then a late arvo session out at the bommie. Head high plus sets, flawless conditions, plenty coming thru. Only three of us out there.

Seems like Iggs is bored of the regional lifestyle already and resorted to trolling.
Wrong. Just like the contents of your pantry and refrigerator pal, it’s wrong wrong and wrong again 🦄😍

Re: Where did you surf today ?

How's the hip Iggs? So far so good. About 2.5wks back surfing, albeit only in the 1-3 foot range, feels like I have full range of motion (roundhouse cutbacks etc) with no detriment. Have surfed the bombie in the head high range a couple of times on the twin fin, loose, fast and easy enough to manag...

Re: Ebay Bargains thread

Appropriate time to post the brazo pumping a mini-mal at Maroubra to understand your definition of style. lol. Don’t worry mate, I’m sure he’d surf rings around you. I’ve seen pics of him on the same shit heap mini mal carving big chunks out of solid overhead indo reef breaks. And said older bloke ...

Re: Ebay Bargains thread

Anyone tried the Alpha Omega bonzer twin? it’s a sick looking board, I’d get one. There’s a goofy footer his sixties that surfs North Maroubra point on one. He’s surfed there for decades, bald bloke kinda short, you may have seen him before. Stylish pendulum-like surfing rail to rail. nothing ever ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I’ve had it out in anything from waist high beachies to DOH reefs and points. It holds, it goes.

Plenty loose, no need to over-surf the board either. Love the drag-free feel and freedom on the wave face.

The skatebowl with loose trucks cross-training has been working a treat, v-similar approach

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Flawless 4-5 foot Cronulla beach breaks. Surfed the Gunther twin. Such an easy board to surf, effortless, fast, loose, plenty of drive and hold.
