The rock bottom makes it very similar to Fairy Bower which was my go to spot in Sydney.

Moffs is as you say, surreal.
The rock bottom doesn't change but swell direction, tide, swell period all combine to produce totally different waves pretty much every day.

This pic clearly shows how the run out from the increasing number of canals angles diagonally across the Passage and eats away at the inside of Bribie.

Note the sand slug, well out from the new opening.

Just show us photos of the waves please Trevor. I'm told there's been some surfing going on but haven't found anyone who's actually bothered. There's potential there for both a left and a right. Yesterday I noticed waves breaking well out past the "bar". It looks like there's a slug of sand forming...

Not totally flat here. But northerlies now.
Wednesday I had an hour and a half at my local. Then another hour at The Bluff.

Absolutely.
Although they also paint a picture of the surf rolling up across the road into their properties.
