Re: Wetsuit manufacturer?
If you are looking for fully made in Australia, there is a small company on the Gold Coast Hwy at Broadbeach. Can't think of their name off hand but they are near the kite board shop and opposite the Asian grocery supermarket. They make custom wetsuits on the premises. Their wetties look good. You c...

Re: channels
A good guy to talk to about channels is the guy who started them, Phil Myers from Ballina. He is still shaping some great boards under his own name. He was using the Lennox Underground brand for some time. Not sure if that is still in operation though.

Re: Surf Lock - comments
I have been using a door only key for about 6 years. No trouble with locking mechanisms and the key fits in my legrope ankle strap, boardies pocket loop and wetsuit key loop. Best $10 I ever spent for peace of mind while surfing.

Must admit I have snapped one in a sraight late take off and creased another in a heavy shorie. They have so much area compared to a short board so if you go hard these things will happen, but the ones you make certainly make up for it.

Re: Who rides a 9'er in beachies everyday, and what make, size ?
I use one all the time, from 1' to double overhead. Goes like a rocket. 9'1" x 2 7/8ths x 21 3/4. Single concave through to flatter tail. Rounded pulled back pin with thruster set up and 7" centre fin. Board is a Phil Myers design from Ballina. My home break is a very sucky beachie and the rail hold...

Re: Need Help Getting A Board To Yamba/McLean
Guys, Not too sure if this is the right thread, but design thoughts are design thoughts. Got a mate who has just made himself a new 9'1" mal with small thruster fins set marginally further back than normal set up. Any thoughts on the performance difference between the small fins as opposed to the la...

Re: New Surf Wax Formula's
Used the new wax on the weekend just gone. Found it quite soft - used almost half a block just topping up existing wax. It seemed pretty good, grippy without being sticky. Showed the crew who all commented on the smell (positive). I will see how long it lasts and if it develops any glase. Thanks aga...
