Here's the picture for Maroubra from SwellNet...
And, yup, it did look like that at dawn. It was like waking up in a tomato.

Re: Global Warming
I believe it is our responsibility not to trash where we live and would be good if we could respect the land as it's original custodians did. THEN STOP TRASHING GLOBAL WARMING THEORIES!!!!!! Not because they may or may not be correct - who knows? - but because it plays into the apathetic hands of b...

Any ideas? Was it me or th...

Re: Periphery sharks...

I've got this fat fish shorty surftech thing, and its hopeless for big waves.
But as a small wave toy, its superb.

Re: How do I remove paint from my surfboard
Depends on whether the flowery paint job was painted on the very top of the board, or is below the glassing. If its on the top, then you probably wont be able to remove the paint without wrecking the flowers... but that might be no bad thing? Acetone ( a tiny amount at a time ) and some gentl...

Yes it does.Nick-W wrote:The argument of "just don't go out and you can't get attacked" doesn't work either.
Just don't go out there and you can't get attacked.

Re: what's the shittest wave in sydney?
Until I moved to Sydney two years ago, I had to travel five hours to the nearest decent break, and it was a hit and miss affair even with the best forecasting.
So I love every wave in Sydney. It's there, just outside my house, I love them all.
...except Coogee. That's shite.

The one time I did travel with a board with BA, about two years ago, they left a hole in the board the size of my fist
And, no, they wouldnt pay out on it
