Some of those girls surf pretty well i reckon. Surfer girls i know (who are as dedicated as anyone else) take alot of inspiration & learn alot from watching the prosurfer girls.

Apparently there is 20% more points up for grabs for this event than the rest of the events on the tour. Seems a bit odd. would make more sense if it was an epic wave or something. whats that about?

Where are you surfing mostly? there are some breaks there that have enough punch for short boarding easy.

M5's. They look like they would do the job. I weigh just under 70kgs and its a 6'2", so plenty of board. It just feels too light. still good though, just squirrls around a bit.

I've got an afterburner tuflite, its a great little beach break board but it seems to lack a sense of direction untill youve got it going.
