Re: Firewire Sweet Potato - decent for a newb?
I transitioned from a bodyboard to a surfboard through a surf club after a knee injury. Balance exercises like balance boards and skateboarding might help as it helped me. The balance boards are awesome-after rehab using one it clicked really quick. After owning a FireWire for me they're not cost ef...

And, also providing down the line speed. But if you bog a rail maybe try and change the placement of your hands because ur hands c...

Its a 3 or 4 resort pass or something: coronet peak, mt hutt and the remarkables. I've heard one of the problems with skiing there is it gets wi...

a surfboat costs about $30 000 each oar costs about $800 new. In season ie the summer months they usually snap a couple of oars a week. Boaties are generally gym junkies. They used to be really good saving devices back in the day but now they've been overtaken by the rubber ducky/inflatable rescue b...

Surfing-paddling aspect seems to be a mixture of endurance and strength... i've never been able to paddle as hard in the ocean and hit the cardiovascular and respiratory (heart and lungs) side of things as i have from doing a sand run/ stair run for 10 mins without stopping. Endurance you pretty muc...

Really good for ur shoulders and aerobic fitness and gets u out in the water having fun with some mates in summer when the surf is below pa...

those things take alot of balance. But they are one of the fastest things u can go on water across with just urself alone. When its flat and there's crap diving or just for something for a change these can be quite fun when there's lakelike conditions. When there's chop and when there's surf that ma...
