Personally I think it worked out alright for slats and his quest for 10, I still see Mick as his greatest threat to the tittle, all the new breeds arnt gonna have much chance at chopes and pipeline if its firing. in regards to choice of clothes, id much rather purchase something from a surf brand than say, target, david jones, glue or whatever shop is cool.... i guess we have a certain image of ourselves, and the surf brands do a good job of supplying that image.... Dosent work cause breaks are totally different depending on swell size tide ect. Take pipeline for exaample you might classify that as double diamond or whateva cause at 8-10 ft it would be.

Same break 2 days later at 1-3ft hawiian would be a 10 of hearts or something
