Had a sweet little surf today. Just enough swell to make the little north bank peel perfectly.

Flat as a tack here this week.

Looks ripe for a bit of 4x4 action or a motocross track.

After a gale force offshore yesterday making paddling and taking off a challenge, today was more calm. Marginally smaller but just smooth and fun. Make of this what you will but I was driving along the Passage about 5.30, heading for my local and the radio played a song from my teenages surfing yea...

No, I went out. Got one okay one butconditions deteriorated quickly with the wind. Got held up on one latish take off.
Monday was surprisingly good though.

Should have gone out this morning but I procrastinated and then had something to do. Waited till the afternoon and the incoming tide.
Too windy and not as good as yesterday. Great littlenorth bank though.

Tama was breaking way out yesterday at low tide with about 4 takers.

Woohoo, had another fun surf this arvo. I had planned to go out. Then thought nah, I will just go down for a hang at the beach. Looked good so got my board.

Went for the late. Got a couple.

Banks haven’t been done too many favours by the recent swells, rain, etc. Last weekend there was a sweet little bank in front of the Pav with a cast of thousands. Hard to see anything today.
