Ocean Beach Caravan Park at Umina. Nice gentle waves and nice cabins to rent. It is a very quiet and safe place to spend a weekend but don't go roaming the streets in town at night.

Go for a drive over to Pearl beach for dinner.

I had a quiet smooth session under the headland just south of the lagoon with sweat little peaks running into the beach. A cast of many further up the beach and over the headland on the point by the clubhouse.

In less than 10yrs time Koby Abberton will be just be an angry drunk squatting on the bar stool by the window of life.

Sat & Sunday beachies where excellent in my neck of the woods. Cracking right handers on one side of the lookout and long loping lefts on the otherside. Crowds on the right where cronic but mostly summer lineup obstacles so no real hassle for a wave.

I was in Exmouth chasing waves ..... missed the whole thing and only found out about in when I got home. Had to buy the mag to get any idea what it was like. The waves up west where very good but ...... I missed it.

Ah the "summer surfer". JUst about now they are feeling pretty good about themselves after two months of surfing. They are looking buffed and tanned can hold their breath for more than 10 sec.
