Unless its huge i prefer mellow stuff, I surf a lot better when I'm relaxed than if I'm tensed up with agression.

You're right I think it might have been the airline that 'lost' her baggage weight information, but still....

The press has reported that Australian customs have 'lost' the weight measurements for her luggage. They've speculated that someone in customs might have felt sorry for her and deleted it. (i.e. the reading would have hung her) Personally i don't see why it couldn't be said that someone in customs w...

Something definitely isn't right about it. Even the judges in the case seem uncertain.

I also get a bit jumpy when I'm going through customs in south east asian countries. I mean, they chop your fricken head off!!

A few decades ago, in a suburb of Melbourne lived a four year old girl with her mother and father. The block of land next door to them had been vacant for a long time when one day builders moved in and started noisily laying the foundations for a house. Being young and being curious by nature, she t...

I agree with that, i mean we're not going to start talking about our husbands' swelling beer guts or how we never got to be dancers.

I agree with you to a certain extent Kimmy, but speaking from the age group were most are still unmarried, I think women are more instinctively inclined to look for it/romanticise it than men. Just look at the very strange behaviour they exhibit when a friend get's married or they're at a wedding (m...

So I should quit my job, tour the norht coast looking for a doe-eyed farm girl with a (coastal) land rich daddy?

You didn't just come up with that plan then did you?

Thanks for all your responses!

The job is actually pretty cool, interesting work (but not too much of it), nice people, good location.

I was thinking I'd stick at it for two years the piss off overseas for a while.

I think I'm just gonna stay the fark away from marriage for the next decade!

Geez Spoon, now you've got me more worried about marriage than work!

I've always wondered about that - as you get older and your chick starts to deteriorate does it bother you as much as it would've when you were young?

Or are you 'partners for life' and accept it as part of being married?

bludging withdrawals

I've just come straight from 3.5 years of uni lifestyle into a 9-5 mon-fri office job. It's so fricken hard. I manage maybe one or two surfs during the week and then battle nb crowds on the weekends I remeber laughing smugly "I don't surf weekends", The worst thing is I've only been doing this for a...
