First surf in couple weeks.
Lunch break, Kirra.
One nice turn. Just chasing walls and sections the rest of the time. Nice to be out though. No where to surf anywhere close to home.

Yesterday.
Just you’re average day of 2022 around these parts.
Can see a glimmer of blue ocean out near the horizon.

Some nose of the board selfie go pro footage would be grand.

Long reef walk outs.
Sounds so cruel cranked. So cruel.

Shit winds, shit water quality for months on end.
However, probably the best year in a long time for snapper through kirra surfers.
Good luck beating them in a paddle battle after having point surf everyday, day after day.

So good.

Mainly because loofy is in the same lineup

Should be alright when I get home then.
I assume the Lismore sewerage treatment plant is still a fair while off repair though.

Loofy is definitely on his way now.

There was a bloke with fake boobs hanging at the Southside carpark the whole time I was there, living alone out of his sedan, drinking tins from sun up till sun down, I assume hitting the marching powder as well.
He talked a lot of shit but was pretty good value.

3:2 steamer for the earlies and 22 short arm steamer as soon as the sun comes up is all you need at the moment here.

My mate had a 5’10ish flax Gary McNeil twinny that went really well out there.
Good for speed off the mark and then held through rail turns.

5’11 round tail pyzel phantom.
I just brought one board down to surf the pool and wherever.

If I had my quiver probably the 6’2 DS
But ideally a 6’2-6’4 more refined rail quad if I had one.
