Good to see Shelly local Molly Picklum win the Pipe Masters. She trains here with Micro (nice fella I have to say) and is a very respectful young woman never dominating the breaks like she easily could at times. Well done, they train hard.

I can't remember the last time I surfed a sand break.

I guess about 40 years ago when I was living near Cronulla.

Would it be sacrilege to say I prefer sand on a day by day basis?
