Re: Midlengths

If a mid-length twin fin needs to be nursed through turns, then its poorly designed. Asher Pacey was riding a big Album twin in a recent epic Kirra swell, and there wasn't any hit of nursing nuthin' ... the board was singing. Way to many shapers jump on design bandwagons without the knowledge to im...

Re: Midlengths

I still think most people jumping on these trendy long twins flay around like they are on a HP/Hybrid board that requires constant turning. Their arms are up and high and throwing their bodies around like whirling dervishes with the board wanting to draw smooth long lines. It’s pretty fucking horrib...

I feel like Jordy doesn't get the credit he deserves. He's big and sometimes looks slow. Like here he looks slow but these turns are burly

On that point. Was just chatting to a few fellas at Nortb Avoca SLC and the young guy ran home with his hand wrapped up in a bloodied t shirt. He’s stoked he’s getting a new board and wettie out of it. 😂. Nothing to see here.

Re: Nth NSW sharks. Can they p!ss off already?

Was told by a member of copa surf club. Good question though Beans, I never asked how he knew. Maybe size, don’t know enough to ponder.

I was just reading the bait hooks haven’t detected a shark this winter.

Re: Nth NSW sharks. Can they p!ss off already?

Yep. It’s been smallish and low crowds all week. Got bit around 7am. Probably a local youngen, will get the gossip at the viewing platform tomorrow. I’ve surfed there Monday and Tuesday. Heaps of salmon around. Guessing a young white as it let go after he was bitten. Mainly juvenile GW, occasionally...
