Queenscliff for the first time in years - got crowded but at least most people knew what they were doing.

First wetsuit was a cut down dive suit (so turned into a spring suit) with a whopping big front zipper............I had no idea what I was buying (second hand classifieds in the Sunday paper).

DY...........about 1/10 with the NE wind. Highlight was being given a Nova radio goodies bag in the car park (so shows how crap it was). Probably worst attempt at surf in a year.

Yesterday at DY, felt and looked like autumn but not quite the waves to complete the experience. Anyway not crowded (as expected) and lovely in the water.

I was looking at the current map thinking how do I remember all this detail if I got caught inside somewhere and where would the Sunset Rip take me............all too complicated so best stay on the sand with the other Realsurfers

2 surfs this week on the northern beaches...........both blah blah blah

Followed your travels and life experiences with great interest - hope it all works out for the future.

Nth beaches yesterday and again early this morning - really fun before the high tide.

Nth CC - crowded but peaky so not too bad.
