No paperwork because no money, Steve.
Council knows about it, some people are helping shop it around. Maybe not the planning section.
Nick was writing about it in July for CW when I asked last time. Not sure if he ended up publishing something?
And that wasn't the first time I heard about it.

Yes well the WSL is all hot on it.
They haven't put any DA type applications in train yet but have the funding to roll with it when/if they do.
They wouldn't give me an exact location but there's a waterski/water park complex just off the motorway that looks custom made for it.

Re: Just general surfing stuff
Sitting outside just now and felt the wind change. The southerly is starting to back around to the west, finally.
Earlier today I saw a black snake, a magnificent black snake, on the bush path to the beach, about 5 metres back from the beach dunes. Only caught the last half metre of it’s tail at first, moving through the lomandra at the back of the dunes. It was as fat as my forearm, just cruising through the underbrush. It then moved into a clearing and I saw that it was well over a metre long, shiny black and looked in the prime of health, scales glistening in the afternoon light.
Made the onshore surf check worthwhile.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Godsavethequeen should be seeing some huge surf on the way from cat 5 hurricane Lorenzo.
Re: Just general surfing stuff
Will Ireland block most of it? Or will it make its way into Wales, via some pinball zig-zags and refraction?

I’ve been tracking Lorenzo for the last week. Looks like it aims up for Wales.

I hope Godsave doesn't have a mud run "scheduled" when the swell is on.
