I'm thinking the back of the swell Sat.

but we have a N'ly forecast Sat.

this swell is being squeezed into tighter and tighter windows.

still small and weak here.

The sets yesterday had 15 second swell periods.

Lot of visiting surfers misjudged the line necessary to keep up with the wave line on the sandbar. You had to stay in touch with the trim line or get left behind.

i went south from me and got some fun waves. maybe 3ft sets ...

the big pay off were all the nude chicks sunbaking along the stretch i was at. i walked about km going past identical bank situations just for the scenery.

according to MSW it's 9.5ft at 16s.

surf is a slow and very lazy 4ft with a million cnuts out and an onshore wind on it.

maybe it won't even get to 6ft tomorrow.

I'm sure it'll get to 6ft at some point.

looks likely the swell will arrive with gale force southerlies though.

did you get a piece of it Iggs?
I’ve swapped today for tomorrow as the winds swing north and offshore for the south swell. Should be a few options.

Does MSW forecast the number of cnuts?

I wonder if it was Nick that was rescued on his paddle board?

correct.
TP1 has been around 12-13 seconds.

Still, as everyone except Godsave seems to have figured out, if that is their imaginary data point or virtual buoy analogue it's a very, very poor choice.

Swellnet says:

Model Estimated Surf Size (12pm)
1ft (Knee High) reaching 4ft at south facing beaches

I thought that was good, but then remembered that Swellnet is not one of those wanky surf forecast sites like MSW and Surf Forecast so would be using the same scale as Craig, Nick, Steve, etc so it would mean 20' faces, or at least 12' anyway, depending on how long your foot is I guess

From my experience their guesses at period align more closely with Tpeak (Tp1) which is currently nudging 15 secs. Swell size is way off though.

This is the comparison I’ve been urging you to make steve. I don’t care if they’re right or wrong just that you compare apples with apples
