there was a strong argument mounted when Michael Lynagh sold it for it to be resumed and made part of the coastal reserve.
now some Cnut - I'm betting on a banker from Holland- will buy it and probably sell it in a year or two to maximise capital gain.

That article is an absolute fustercluck.
Does the German engineer own the place? Why does his festival have anything to do with the property?
Get Ziff to buy it and try and scam an invite.
Perfect place for a RS BBQ, the outdoor batting opportunities are endless.

Went for a paddle since I took the day off. Pretty frustrating little surf. Pretty much gave up after a couple of crappy going nowhere rights and the usual reluctant to break smaller ones. Rip was deceptively strong so everyone kept finding themselves too far out.
Finally snared a left that hit the bank properly and lined up with a decent wall. Plenty of speed down the line and managed to float it on my backhand off the close out at the end to finish......that made my day.

South swell has picked up a touch, enough for a few turns.

Cold, pouring rain, junk in the water, no one else out (wonder why) and one wave almost made it worth the effort.

DY - one of the best days of the year
Why do people say "grow some balls"? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you wanna be tough, grow a vagina. Those things can take a pounding.

Manly and yes one of better days of the year (just that more east in the swell makes all the difference).

had a little go out, first since that white buzzed me and I was very happy to discover I had no leftover sense of fear impinging on the surf experience.

My beef has always and only been with the realistic range available to the average Sydney working stiff

Hernia full recovery. Even the small scar is quickly fading.
Ear - seems ok. I’m using plugs. Going to do the other ear probs late spring.
