Re: Where did you surf today ?
Yesterday morn I surfed an old 70s tube line single fin.
Went great in the 3-4ft clean peaks.
Back on the twinny today and i was totally kooking it to start.
Threw me right off.
I have no trouble adjusting between thruster and twinny, or even longboard single and the twinny. But this really stuffed me for a good 5-6 waves.

You surf a different NB's, Over 55? One in an almost parallel universe.

It's funny you know. I have a same same but different issue. I have this flat and fast 2+1. It's so fast into waves that your pop needs to be lightening quick. When I go back to a 6'4 shortboard it's luxury on take off.buddy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 11:33 amYesterday morn I surfed an old 70s tube line single fin.

Haha ... did the same thing many years ago, back when MR twinnies were all the rage. Drove from Fairlight to Narrabeen and the boards remained on the racks.
The moving finger writes and having writ moves on ... now all thy piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel even half a line ... nor all thy tears wash out a single word of it.

Just out the front, it was onshore, lumpy and small, but I needed a surf after 2 days of doing nothing and couldn't be bothered riding to the other side.
When I paddled in there were 2 pommie surfers just about to paddle out, they asked me what it was like for gods sake, as if it was not completely obvious, 'not that good' I said, they seemed surprised!

Pretty good now thanks Sunny, antibiotics seemed to clear it up.
But jesus its hot and humid. Glad they brought in that 'realfeel' concept, its only 31C but it feels like 38C, and I think the air is thick and viscous, they should report on that too.

I hear what you're saying Steve , but by coincidence or not, my symptons virtually dissappeared about four hours after taking a big dose of antibiotics. I'm just thankful its gone
