Otway is reporting he has had to use a hair dryer the last few mornings to melt the frost in the door locks so they can get out of the house.

Hakuba was a bit like that in 2000, all these ghost buildings full of furniture that were left over from the Nagano Olympics.

The mountain was highly regarded on the old snowjapan forum from memory. Good snowfall and an interesting mountain.
