I don't. There's thieves trying to break in. Gotta run

Western Australian Crime Stats

https://www.police.wa.gov.au/Crime/Crim ... ics#/start

You may be surprised to know that common theft is higher per capita in WA than NSW.

I don't have the stats on those completely oblivious to crime. Kidding of course. Half your luck.

I don't live in QUeensland thud, it's pretty normal where I live to leave a second board on the beach. Why would live somewhere that you couldn't?

You wouldn't leave your wife on the beach unattended though, right?

I usually take a shorty and a log, or a shorty and a step up. Leave one in the car.

molten plastic from leftover 9/11 jets?

Most of the time I leave my car unlocked with fishing and surfboards inside, windows down, radio on and keys in the ignition.

This is the great advantage of driving a Camry bought from the wreckers.

Correct Foamingham.

Except this one came from the side of the road.

And I also think it confuses a casual, opportunistic thief....something seems not right about it, in the way that certain brightly coloured animals and plants in nature advertise themselves but are poisonous to predators.

It's a kind of camouflage.

And as far as the professional car thief is concerned.....they'd be down on their luck to look twice at a Camry of any vintage.

My mate had a shit box Ford of some description and was forever trying to get it stolen (worth $300, insured for $2k).
Used to leave it unlocked near train and ferry stops, with petrol and lighter on the passenger seat.
One day a friend borrowed it and locked it, within 3 hours somebody used a jemmy to break in and stole one shoe from each of the three pairs in the boot.

I have seen your car. I reckon any aspiring thieves would take one look
and top up the tank and leave a tenner on the dash board
