Guilty of that myself. What made it worse I bought a zipper less by accident as I was looking to replace an old chest zip ss steamer. First day I tried to put it was torrential rain. Decided to get changed in the car and ended up in a real bind. Actually thought at 1 stage I was going to have to wait for someone to help me out.

Having got used to it is is mind bendingly supple and easiest the best wettie for movement. Not sure that I would risk trying to get a 3/2 zipper free on though.

There has to be an official diagnosis for this kind of madness.

Bought a wettie yesterday. A quicky 3.5 / 3. Looks the goods. First time with a quick wettie. Been rusted on Rip Curl and O'neill user since forever.
Had leaks and seam breakdown with the current 3/2 Rip flash bomb, less than 2 years old. Surf shop dude told me it was a batch thing which they've fixed. Maybe. Don't care. It's rooted and it's winter so i'm not surfing in boardies while they fix it. Fcuk that. Must say though, the quick dry red fuzz inner lining stuff is a good thing. The seam failings put me off going with a flash bomb again though.

You foaming spangoloids need to chill before you all do wetties on the carpet

My Quikkie has lasted three seasons counting this one. I reckon this will probably be the last but it's still good. Back zip. Only annoying thing is this stupid flap that goes over the shoulder blades internally. I've got a Ripcurl springy and it is way stiffer and more restrictive. Checked out another one in a surfshop last week and it was exactly the same.

Are boots and hood necessary in WA?
I've never been.

Needs essential wetties are becoming more and more popular at my local regardless of what the surfer actually earns.

Does any reckon the RRP of the the big name brands will come down to fight off the market share loss these other smaller brands are taking off them?

I haven't heard a single negative review on them.

My ONeill pyrofreak has two leaks in the junction of my arm and peck. Let's in loads of water, this is going to be an interesting winter. No point repairing it, as I reckon once there's 2 leaks others will soon follow.

I'm going sustainable and going Patagonia, I must admit, the difference between 240 and 600 is going to be hard to swallow for the planet. Eventually it'll get better.

To be fair, it was literally crying out to be selectively quoted

To tell the truth eggs are one thing I avoid buying when I’m grocery shopping. So you may say I’m an intermittent egg buyer who usually lets someone else buy them.
