Asking for a TOTY nomination here.
After Xmas my colon was packed tighter than a Bavarian sausage. Frankly I felt full, old and exhausted. Anyway I have been trying eat a lot more vegetables. Recently I discovered this kick arse cauliflower curry dish. The gas release was like pulling the valve on a Nazi airship. I felt about a stone lighter.
Anyone recommend any good cook books, sites, meal etc...that are heavy in fish and or Veges.

there's plenty but try a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in some water upon waking.
Lot of mumbo jumbo but there seems a fair weight of evidence in controlling blood sugar and improving insulin response.

anti oxidants are the go. chilli, dark chocolate, ginger, kale, green tea.
Simplest and easiest way to get things moving is an arvo green tea. but not any green tea. You can get this tetley one which is steamed, so it has all the good stuff in it.
I squeeze a small lemon into a mug, a large tbl spoon of raw honey and double dunk 2 green teabags in it. do that every day for 2 weeks, and you see stuff you ate in high school in your stool.
A great little spicy meal is broccoli sliced long ways, with 5-6 birds eye chillis sliced into qtrs. put a good amount of oil in a pan, then chilli, then tons of soy sauce, and sear off the broccoli so it's still crunchy. goes great with rice on its own, or as a side dish with an omelette or rice or fish & rice.
A warm beetroot salad is always good and goes great with chicken or fish.
3 or 4 Fresh beetroot, a qtr cabbage, 3 cloves of garlic, a carrot and some beans/ snow peas.
Heat a fry pan up with coconut oil. add the garlic, cube the beetroot & add that. cook for 5-6 mins, then add carrot and beans cook for another 2 mins. then add cabbage and let wilt. serve it with some protein like salmon or chicken.
avoid red meat, imo. it's just terrible for you.

Can't recall exactly what it's supposed to do but tends to wake me up and help create a perfectly formed stool before my morning shower

get Metamucil or cheaper option pysillium husks, which is all Metamucil is without flavouring. make a smoothy throw in a couple
of tablespoons. drink it fast cause it soaks up the liquid and its turns into a thick paste. when it hits your gut it just sucks everything
up and out it comes! your crap will be supersized.
also the apple cider vinegar is gold. I was put onto it in my early 20s when a bunch of older lennox locals took me to gland. they
had done 15+ trips each and swore by it. no bali belly, good energy levels etc. I had a few other mates with me laughing about
drinking it every morning. but guess who got bali belly? old locals and me 0 , smartass upstarts 4 lol
