May be a wave in Port Phillip though on Sunday afternoon if the winds really get up.....

You miss the size and power of Vicco's swell iggy admit it :P

And Ringa I get plenty of action at home mate, never been a need for me to stab some smackheads snatch at Palace Playmates in Frankston.

Beaumaris is better apparently, pretty sure there is a decent left-hander there off the point but you need big winds for it to work.

Wave Periods may get up to 20 seconds this weekend as well...

The leading edge of the swell hit the Point Nepean buoy at 1am this morning with 23 second periods and its dropped back to around 19-20 seconds through the day as the swell has built. If you had a look late today Ringa I'd be interested to hear an update on how big it got.

From the buoy right now

Significant wave 5.86 metres
Maximum wave 10.68 metres

Wind is gusting upwards of 40 knots, going to check out a sheltered spot

F*cking best surf in ages!!

ok, was a bit boring waiting for the sets, and it was cold and raining and the sets were 3 waves, bt the waves were f*cking awesome when they came.

sooo clean and powerful, and I had an sucky shallow Aframe beachie all to myself!!

got hammered, covered, flew, spanked, smashed, stoked and flogged.

great sesh !!

I went to Shoreham

Waves were around 3-4 foot but the occasional 6 foot bomb came through. Bloody unbelievable, never seen it that big there before.

Wind was howling, rain and sea spray were so strong you couldn't face into it as it felt like your face was being sand-blasted, sea was choppy as all hell but fcuk me it was fun :D
