Love this chapter...

"Down the street the green leaves of the giant elms fanned out towards heaven, glowing in the setting sun. Magpies and currawongs sang in the gums with a chorus of cicadas. Children played in the distance. Dogs barked and someone jumped in a pool. These were the final moments of the summer holidays and the kids of the neighbourhood were squeezing in one more game, one more swim. They'd do anything to fight the sunset, because if it didnt happen, you would never have to go back to school"

Its really good batoes, be proud
Thank God - you went to hell and back to get it...! The thick brush of nostalgia... :-D-:

Funnily enough I have grown to like the place...all the best people seem to end up there

And by the way...I thought calling the crazy, old...bald headed guy...Steve, was a bit of a cheap shot

Read the start of it last night - not bad, not bad at all Batoes. Definitely better then plenty on the shelves, and nice that the surfing parts aren't over written but give a good feel.

Excellent work from what I have seen so far - worth the 2.99!
