3 of my 4 boards are pretty much for knee to not much overhead lol.Beanpole wrote:They look great. Kind of half hankering to get one except realistically I have all the options covered at the moment.
Yep, I had to rethink my bonzer order today. Too many boards for 2-3ft waves.Beerfan wrote:3 of my 4 boards are pretty much for knee to not much overhead lol.Beanpole wrote:They look great. Kind of half hankering to get one except realistically I have all the options covered at the moment.

I've watched that clip of Joel Tudor surfing pipe on what looks like something in the 6'6-7'0 range.Beerfan wrote:I fkukking totally want a bonzer egg.
Did you can it all together or did you alter it? Get a 6'8 x 20 1/2 x 2 5/8 B5 Egg. If you don't like after a while I'll buy it off youDrailed wrote:Yep, I had to rethink my bonzer order today. I tried the twin keel thing for a while. Magic in the right waves, but really quite limited.JET01 wrote:This thread has got me looking at quad fish again.
I've never owned one. Always wanted one just to try it. Used to have a twin keel 5'10 south point epoxy... had some great sessions on it, but only on the forehand.... I suck on my backhand and the board didn't help any. Is there a big difference between a keel and a quad fish? I used to druel over the firewire fish many moons ago, never could find one second hand when i had the cash available.

Yeah totally agree with the keel fish. Fkukking love mine but it wants certain waves. Less than average beachies don't cut it really. Surfable, but when you get some nice clean down the line type waves it just rocks.tootr wrote:I tried the twin keel thing for a while. Solution - Pulled in tail, double flyer, quad fish. Curvier outline, more rocker, belly concave to vee. A blend of old and new. Best board ever for 1-5 foot waves.
